The work of Jeanne Beutler will be spotlighted throughout the month of March at The Gaslight Gallery. Beutler, a painter, illustrator and weaver, will be demonstrating the art of pastel painting from 5 to 9 PM on March 7 during Gallery Hop. "Promises of Spring" is the name of her latest collection of pastel paintings featuring landscapes bursting with color, blossoming trees and blooming meadows. In addition to working in pastels, Beutler has illustrated a series of charcoal portraits of Native Americans and famous personalities including the Beatles and Mother Teresa. The Gaslight Gallery also displays a collection of prints and original acrylic and watercolor paintings by Beutler. Several of these paintings and illustrations can be viewed on her page of the website here.
